Day 2 Gutenberg & Ordered Lists

In day 2 we are going to talk about Gutenberg.

When I first came up against Gutenberg, I didn’t feel confident or satisfied. Then I realised its potential.

One thing you may not realise – and this in built feature has lots of surprises – is that you can reorder your numbered list.

This comes in handy when you want to split a list up into columns but keep the numbering consistent.

Here’s an exampe below:

  1. Cats
  2. Dogs
  3. Birds
  1. Fish
  2. Whales
  3. People

See how I was able to restart the numbering at 4 for the second column!

Now granted you can do this with html, it makes it easier for those who not know HTML. A real cool tool.

Let me know if there are any tricks you’d like to share, anything new you’ve learned etc. And check out the other 30 spoilers as they roll through here.
